The preceding pictures were from our trip to Villa Escudero  it was our first day trip. On the way to the park we were able to see the Philippine country side and to visit the fruit stands along the way. it was the first time we were able to get of the city. the air was cleaner and the driving was not so scary. We enjoyed it very much. We both tried some Philippine food most of which we didn't know what we was eating but it was pretty good they had fish that was grilled and we tried it and enjoyed it. we tried a side dish that we think was squash with green beans and other things in it. the tables where we ate were set in the river so you set there and could feel the small fish swim by your feet it was very different. we were pulled around the park by carabao cart they are a large oxen like animal they are very docile and slow moving. I think that Ann wrote about our trip so I will close for now
