On Nov. fifth we had our Thanksgiving dinner. We also used the occasion to bid fare well to our Friends and fellow missionaries the Abans they left a few days later for their home in northern Philippines. We will miss them. They let use the Temple annex for our party and it worked out well. We had a wonderful dinner one that you would never see in the States we had egg rolls and other Philippine dishes I tried them all and really enjoyed them all. Of course we had traditional Thanksgiving dishes turkey, mashed potatoes gravy ,rolls, pies, cranberries etc.
