To day here in the Philippines it is Saturday 11/17/2012 last night we went to the Texas  Road House restaurant we had a hard time getting a taxi hailed down to take us over there. We finally figured out that they keep passing us up because there was six of us standing together so we split up in to groups of three the first group got picked up fairly quick. That left Ann and me and sister Morby finally a taxi stopped for us and took us there in a different way than sister Morby had ever been so we were worried that we would not be able to find it. The taxi driver had no idea where it was but we new it was somewhere buy the mega mall so that is where he headed we were looking every where as he drove . we finally spotted brother Morby out in front and gasped a sigh of relief. The meal was very good and we enjoyed each others company. then we got ready to leave and realized that it was a Friday night and the people here are starting to shop for Christmas and the streets are so busy it's hard to believe how much traffic there is it is just bumper to bumper Any way brother Morby thought that if we walked over to a mall called Robinsons that the Nicholson's could buy some things that they needed and then it would be easier to catch a cab that wasn't the case after standing in line for one and a half hours Morby's and Ann and me decided to walk back to our apartment Nicholson's didn't want to take the chance of being mugged they had already had a encounter with and couple of guys that ripped of sister Nicholson's necklace on the same way that we had to walk. we didn't want to leave them there but we had no choice so we left.It took us about half hour to get home and when we got home they had made it home also.But if we had waited we would have need three cabs and who nos how long we would have been there the moral of the store is don't go out on Friday or Saturday night.
They are stringing Christmas lights on all of the trees and bushes around the Temple I think that it will be beautiful when they turn them on . They say that there is also a manger scene that they put up in a central area in front of the Temple.I asked one of the workers when they turn them on and if he understood  me correctly he said they will turn on on December second . I will put pictures on our blog.
