Well it is Dec.19 and we finally was able to get back in to our blog. So I am trying to remember some of the things that we have done that will be of interest. We went to the American women's bazaar they have a lot of
craft type items we bought a Christmas decoration that we have hanging on our front door We also bought a bracelet for Ann and a twelve days of Christmas ornament. We saw a beautiful hand made quilt that we thought about buying but one of the missionary sisters that has made a lot quilts said that the hand stitching was not that great.  We took Nomar and his family to dinner he is the temple engineer and he has been so helpful to us he has helped us with setting up our computers and our magic jack phone  and he went with me to get my Philippine drivers licence ( I don't think I could have gotten it without him ) and I hope that I never have to use it to drive over here.He has a beautiful Wife and three cute kids one boy 12 and one girl 11 and one boy 6 we had a nice dinner and evening with them.We had a very nice evening on Monday the 17 th president Cuyon's ward came to the temple annex and sang Christmas songs for us they sang beautifully and the young kids played little drums and tambourines and a little girl that could just barley walk danced in the middle of the floor it was a nice evening.Ann and I have been wanting our jeans since we got here they told us that you would not want to wear jeans here but everybody wears them so we caught a cab the other nite and went to a mall and  looked all over and asked every body that we saw were we could find some levi's
as we walked a way we could see them laughing at us. But we found a levi store and bought us a pair each when they told us the price I was surprised they cost 7000 Paco ($170.00). It doesn't seem like Christmas here even though every body here is excited for it to come .I guess if we were home we would be excited to.I took some picture of the temple lighting but our camera is no good for night pictures so I am going to buy a new camera even though they say that it we cost more here that at home but we are here for 15 months I think that it well be worth it .
